Taking it to the Streets

I came across an interesting spectacle on the internet the other day. It seems there is a huge group of people all over the world who are taking up a new form of graffiti. It’s called urban knitting and it just makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. A lot of my friends are pretty into crocheting and knitting so it’s pretty cool to see a group of people who are using it for something other than hats and scarfs! There’s surprisingly a ton of information about it on the web at Wikipedia, Flickr, and MySpace. I found this “crew” who seems to have started it all. They call themselves Knitta Please. Here are some photos of the Art. It’s sooo cool!
