Utah Day 4 (Brighton)

Last night it snowed 11 inches in Big Cottonwood Canyon and we decided to ski one last time before our 5pm flight. After checking out half-day lift ticket prices at the nearby resorts, we decided it was best to head to Brighton again.

We arrived a little before the lifts opened at 9am. I couldn’t believe how empty the place was considering the conditions. Since we just skied Brighton yesterday, we knew exactly where to go to find the good snow. The conditions were incredible.

We skied for three and a half hours and spent probably 80% of the time in untouched powder. It was super light and fluffy. Perfect conditions. I’d say that this was my favorite day of the entire trip.

I’m on the flight back to PA now. It’s a bit sad to leave this winter wonderland, but I don’t know how much more my body can take. I’m exhausted! This was definitely the best week of skiing I’ve ever had. I don’t think we could have picked a better week. During the time we were in utah, they received nearly 3′ of new snow. Hope you enjoyed reading about our trip and checking out the photos!
