		<description>Yep! iTunes backs up the phone to a directory on your computer. I think it only keeps 1 backup at a time, though. My backup was about 200MB, so it doesn&#039;t have all of the music and videos included. It&#039;s mostly just settings, text messages, bookmarks, etc. I found this backup in ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup. I copied this to another location since I *think* iTunes overwrites this every time it does the backup and it would eventually become a backup of my jailbroke phone.

I haven&#039;t tried restoring from my backup yet, but I would expect it to put my phone back to normal.  Also, I the IPSW file that you use to do the jailbreak is simply a copy of the original iPhone firmware. So, you can always do a traditional iPhone restore and put it back to the day you purchased it.</description>

		<description>That does look pretty neat. Were you able to backup the original iPhone OS so that you could restore it anytime? I&#039;d be a lot more willing to try this if I could easily get it back to normal.</description>
